Daniel is currently leading a team at Parkland Health in IT. As a leader, he oversees two dynamic teams of business analysts and application specialists, driving innovation and efficiency in healthcare technology. Prior to his current tenure at Parkland Health, he made strides in the HIM Department, managing teams in records management and document imaging. His professional journey includes significant roles at Texas Health Resources, helping to consolidate numerous HIM services while ensuring compliance with bylaws and regulations, and at the University of New Mexico Hospital, where he led HIM Operations. Utech has served as president of both TXHIMA and DFWHIMA in Texas, and NMHIMA in New Mexico.
